My favorite video game

Authors Note: A little over rated but I still love it.


I love MW3 it is so wonderful it's a little over rated but it makes me chuckle. The excitment and the rage is what make me insane.

Skydiving

Authors Note: I know skydiving is dangerous and it's fun at the same time.


Skydiving is a blast. To feel the wind in your face, the thrill of falling out of the airplane, maybe doing flips in the air. At least this is what I  heard. It can also be very dangerous if you do one wrong thing and mess up and not pull those cords you are going to go splat on the ground. But if you know what you're doing you will have a blast.

Favorite Car

Authors Note: The fastest car in the whole world goes really fast it's just amazing.


 I love the Bugatti Veyron 16.4. I like the speed of the Bugatti Veyron it's just amazing seeing how fast the car is going. You just think are my eyes deceving me because this can't be real. This is the best car ever invented.

Favorite Sport

Authors Note:  Football is the best sport ever and very barbaric.



My favorite sport is Football. My favorite sport is football because it seems more masculine and it's fun watching players getting tackled. It's also fun to watch people at your house get all hyped up because there favorite team got a touchdown or an interception.

Favorite tv show

Authors Note: Spongebob is the best cartoon character and no one can tell me other wise.



I love Spongebob he's very nice but his friend Squidward just might bite. There is a Starfish who is very lazy and a crab who is cray about money.

History of Football

As I sat in the stadium, the arena was completely silent. It was so quiet you could hear an echo of a pen dropping on the floor from 30 feet away. As soon as you hear the quarter back say hut, hut, everyone goes into action and literally it was like the wave when everyone leaned forward slightly one section at a time. This game was so intense. The quarterback steps back a couple of steps when he throws the ball to the wide open wide receiver. He catches it; he’s going, going, going and only 10 yards away from the end zone and…….  The Football Game I’ll Never Forget, by Chris McDonell, helps people understand how great football is by communicating facts about the most fascinating games in history. Readers will be entertained by the way the author describes the skills players have which are pro football players. If only I had skills like they did back in the day.

                   

Everyone should read his book because it’s very entertaining and it also has all of the best games ever in old school history. This book is so interesting because in some parts of the book the author makes me feel like I’m right there in the stadium. The makes me feel like I’m right there because he uses details on how the game is going like the author uses comments that players say about how they felt when they were in that position. If you read this book you will most likely feel the same way I feel.  

You would also want to read this book because if you study it or play the sport, then it might become interesting. Then you’re going to want to know more because in a way you’re involved in football just because you know something about it. There are a lot of people that watch and play football, so then if you know someone who likes football too, then you both can talk about how astonishing football is. One of my all time favorite line backers is Ray Nitschke, who played for one of my favorite teams, the Green Bay Packers. The NFL’s all time linebacker in 1969 played 15 seasons from 1958-1972. He also had 25 career interceptions, which is amazing, isn’t it?

In the book the Football Game I’ll Never Forget the author, Chris Mcdonell, helps people understand how great football is by informing us facts about the most amazing games ever in NFL history. Football is the greatest sport ever invented.

Mcdonalds

Authors Note: Mcdonalds it's good to eat but not good for you and nothing good comes out of eating it except a toy, only if you get a happy meal.



 Big mac is very yummy and the fries and drinks are so good. In fact, in my opinion thier fries are the best anywhere. They have added some really good chicken sandwiches that can fill you up. Let's not forget the fish sandwiches with the yummy tartar sauce. Of course if you don't want their soda or iced tea their shakes are as tastey as can be. To get the little kids in to eat they offer their Happy Meals with a toy. All of the sandwiches are nice and delicious but if you eat it everyday you could get aa heart attack.

Gummi Bears

Authors Note: That first sweet sweet taste and that delicious sensation  I felt was just amazing.



Gummi, Gummi they're so yummy
So delicious in my tummy.

                                         Proud of My Country

 

I am proud of my country because we have a lot of opportunities and things to offer. We have all the good things that other countries want, like our clothes and other material items. Living in the USA is a good thing because we have choice and freedom. 

People in other countries don’t have furry coats and silk pants or different types of weave women wear on their head for hair. Other countries they don’t have a Mc Donald’s some countries can’t even get the education  that we can, these other countries can’t even get the flashy jewelry or big screen T.V’s we have.

As you can see there is many reasons that shows us how grate this country is to have all of these things and how grateful I am to be here and it makes me proud of how far this country has gotten. But as you can see living in the USA is a good thing because we have all of these privileges and choices and also our freedom.

Elephant Man

There have been many sad stories of people with disabilities but the one story of Joseph Merrick is the worst of them all. Joseph Merrick was a Man with severe deformities; he was exhibited as a human curiosity.

In the first few years of his life he seemed to appear normal and healthy. A pamphlet stated that the symptoms started at the age of 5 with thick and lumpy skin like an elephant, an almost the same color. In a 1930’s article stated that the swelling of his lips started at the age of 21 months followed with a bony lump on his forehead and roughening of skin. As he grew older there was a noticeable difference between his left and right arms and very large feet. The Merricks family explained Joseph’ symptoms as a result of his mother being knocked down by a fairground elephant while she was pregnant with Joseph. The concept of maternal impression that the emotional experiences of a pregnant woman could have lasted physical effect on their unborn children, which was still common in 19^th century England. Joseph held that belief of his cause of affliction for his entire life.        

          

But beside all of his deformities he still attended school and had a close relationship with his mother. On May 19^th 1873 after 3 years of her younger son William, Mary Jane Merrick died from bronchopneumonia. Joseph Rockley Merrick soon remarried on December 3 1874. She was a widow with children of her own.

Joseph left school at aged 12 which was usual for the time; his home life was a perfect misery. He ran away two or three times but his father brought him back each time. At age13 he found a job rolling cigars in a factory, but after three years his right hand deformity got worsened so he was enable work. So now he was unemployed and wondering the streets all day looking for and trying to get away from his stepmothers taunts. I think his stepmother was just as a problem as everyone else was but I do think his torture was just getting worse. On returning home one day he was severely beaten by his father and left home for good. And the sad thing was he got beaten for doing nothing it was just because his stepmother said something about Joseph that he did to his stepmother which was a lie and his father believed her at least there was some goodness in his life. Joseph’s uncle heard about his rough situation, sought him out and offered him accommodation in his home. After two years Joseph’s uncle could not afford to support his nephew. In late December 1879 he was now 17 years old, Joseph entered the Leicester’s Union Workhouse. He had split up into a group with the men of ages between 16 and 66. Some people would be bothered by his appearance so a lot of people quit. In 1882 Joseph tried to get surgery on his face but an enlargement on his lips during the surgery and effected his speech and sometimes hard to chew his food. Years went by of teasing and taunting for Joseph Merrick but he still made a couple of friends but still life was always hard for him. On April 11 1890 at three o’ clock in the afternoon Joseph Carey Merrick was announced dead, he was only 27 years old. The cause of his death was suicide the theory is he wanted to know it felt like to lay on his back like a normal person. This is a man who was bullied, teased and taunted although he lived it over and over again he still didn’t have to die just so people can stop talking about him. But the cause of his disease remains unknown to this day.
